Who Am I, You Ask!
Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog.
This blog demonstrates my lessons learned about networking and social media, especially in an on-line world and the natural results that come from it when done right (and wrong). The journey along the way is fascinating.
Warning to my readers: I don’t claim to be a journalist or a Grammartarian ;). I consider the mistakes in my posts a human touch!

I’m new to Linkedin. I need experienced advice about how to set up my profile. I have a business called A Very Good Year (see linkedin). I am the owner. Contacts from this textile business are going to be totally different than the ones I will have from my employment experiences in animation. I may have to rely on the animation contacts for short term work assignments inbetween the times I travel for fabric presentations. People looking at my profile – I think – will be confused. Am I in the Textile design business? or the animation business?
How can I maximize the ‘brand’ for each area? Do you recommend that I get separate accounts: one for my employment experience, and one for my business? What will be the most effective way to handle this?
I thank you in advance for your experienced advice.
